We have arrived in Sweden

The first few days have been a bit hectic with jetlag and allergies (everything is flowering) making it pretty hard to embrace the summer. Tanja and I have been taking lots of walks around Frösön where we are staying with her parents.

But today we went on a day trip with Tanja's parents around the south end of Storsjön.

First we had morning tea at summer cafe run from an old barn behind a house. There are plenty of these pop-up cafe's in Sweden throughout the summer. They're often run by young people who sell homemade cakes and coffee to make some money over the summer.

We then explored a cave with a temperature of just 4 degrees (it's 29 degrees outside today!).

Finally we had lunch at a cafe at the top of Hoverberg. It was a pleasant lunch in the sun with views back over Storsjön from the creativly decorated tower.
